Got here early, ordered jerk chicken but was told wasn't ready yet so she suggested I try the curry chicken. Glad I did, was absolutely sublime. Rice and peas were equally good, the little attention to details is what gets a 5 star rating. Plantains the best I've ever had, fried thin. Also had a beef patty, amazing pastry crust and right ratios. Girl behind the counter was very sweet and friendly, highly recommended to anyone visiting the area.

Excellent dinner. I had the shredded pork with rice and plantains. My son had the half chicken, which he ate to the bone. We will definitely be back. Very authentic. Very tasty.
btw - It is not a typical restaurant. You order at the counter as you walk in (where you can also look at what they are serving), and then you can go to a nice eating area off to the side where they will bring your meal. -

If you're going to Long Pond, PA you have to try this. Very fresh and very tasty. Serving of small was good for me and my husband. We also had the fried dumpling. You have to eat it while it's hot to enjoy the crunch. We're going back there and try more food in the menu.

Absolutely disgusting compared to the one I always go to. Rice n beans had no flavor and the chicken was slimy and not fully cooked!!!!!!!! she forgot the beef patty and I had to go back n ask for it which was a disappointment because the beef patty literally made me gag I almost threw up. Do not recommend to anyone.

This is a must-to-go place if you are around the poconos. The lady selling the food was really really nice and friendly, she let us try samples from any food we were thinking about.
We got a small chicken curry and a small beef short ribs and they were all delicious, meat was soft and tender, sauce was flavorful. There is a ton of meat for the price, probably the best and cheapest meal I had in this area. The lady also offered us free cokes because it was our first time there.
I would definitely come back again whenever I go to the poconos.
